Fashion Tip #1

This is just a cute look that I have liked of late.

It saves money and saves on finding tops in the right size.

I am wearing a simple $10 Supre Black Singlet in my size.

Over the top I put on a small black lace cami top, its far too small for me on its own but flashes up the singlet when worn over the top.

So you can stock up on these little lace cami's from your local op shop or bulk buy for next to nothing on eBay and just buy a few cheap singlets.

Still a casual look but adds a little something I think

There is my first fashion tip :-)

Cliche Winter

So its been getting colder this last week and this weekend was rather chilly in the house, but alas. Having lived in the tropics for the past 4 years the cold caught me off guard and without any long sleeve tops. Major Fail!

Luckily I found this cute little number in Jay Jays for a mear $10.00. SCORE!!

The fabric is still fairly thin, so I wouldn't take it interstate during winter but for our little cold snap it will do just nicely.

Vintage Slips Obsession

So right now I find I am obsessed with vintage slips.

I think they are sexy as hell, and feel gorgeous on the skin. Lace makes the breasts looks fabulous as well.

So I have searched on etsy and bought a few.

This green one is full length and balloons up a bit when you twirl.

The black one below comes to just above the knees and hugs the figure.

I am watching several others on etsy and wont be able to stop myself from getting some more when I get more funds.

<3 Just though I would share this with you.

LipService Rocks My World!

Well I just made another Lip Service Order....

Gangsta Pranksta has been a favourite for me for a while now. Pinstripes are awesome looking and flattering to my shape.

Although Lipservice have many of their pieces in the black with white pinstripes and grey with white pinstripes, they also provide a not so traditional pinstripe colour, red and green!

Firstly I was buying the black with red
pinstripes as it looked good and was
not the norm.

Then they brought the range out in black with green pinstripes, and right nowon the lipservice site they are marked down around 20%
So I bought up. I had already bought the boot cut pants and my new order included the mid-length skirt, bodice top and bondage top. I
I can't wait to get these other three items in the post!

Iron Fist Zombie!

Hehehe, I love the werewof design but this zombie bikini really took my fancy.
Zombie Chomper, which you can get in the heels and wallet, shows the zombie eyes on the top and the zombie's rotting teeth on the bottoms.
The sides of the bottoms have black rings holding the pieces together.
This is such a fun piece, though I wish Iron Fist offered the bikini in the werewolf design, the zombie is good too.

Alchemy Jewellery - Queen of the Night

This is a gorgeous necklace that I bought at the same time as the Seraphim necklace.
Though the inner chain connecting the main bit to the emeralds on the right hand side did break while I was wearing it at a party it was easy to fix.
I love the deep emerald colour of this one and its rather a striking piece when on.

LipService Rocks My World!

Lipservice clothes certainly do rock my world, I can't get enough of them even if they are not always practicle.

These however are my wardrobe MUST HAVE and I have a few.

They are from the Gangsta Pranksta range called Spaghetti Sally Shorts.

Though I removed the straps from mine, I still highly reccommend these.
They are comfy and practicle in the heat of the day and go with pretty much everything I have in my wardrobe.

I wear mine every day in summer and have yet to wear them out.

I have several of the black ones and one of the grey and white.
The grey and white is a larger fit than the plain black ones, but not too big to be a problem.

I hope to add more of these to my wardrobe before next summer, just to make sure I never run out!

eBay Addict!

Ok while we are on the subject of Bolero's, here is another one of my favs from eBay.

Military style with large buttons and a blueish-silver phoenix embrodered on the back.

This bolero is a little warmer than many of my other ones and is long sleeve.

Made of good quality fabric and stitching this is definatley one of the best I've got.

Though not really the type you would wear to a wedding or anything like that, this is a fun piece to wear when heading out for a few at the bar.

Etsy!

This is just one cute bolero that you can find on etsy.
The place is crawling with them, in every colour, pattern and fabric.
I love the Tim Burton feel of this one, and the cute lace edgings.
I am a bolero addict! They can dress up just about any outfit, or create a professional look or make an outfit fun...... oh yeah and they do provide some warmth when the weather turns a little cool too.
Though the seller of this item is no longer registered on etsy just search boleros to find a massive range of different boleros for every occasion.

Etsy Special Find

A special find, this gorgeous little skeleton hair clip painted purple and glitter.

I was so pleased to find this in Kira's little shop of horrors on etsy.com

Since I had my hair cut short and it went all wavy, I've used this clip and it looks so cute in.

At only US$5 it was definatley a bargin item that I have fallen in love with.

Sometimes the littles things can be a wonderful find

Alchemy Jewellery - Seraphim

More alchemy!
Stunning detail on this one, though the clear crystal dissapears into clevage but the wings display nicely on the chest with a wide span.
This I bought through the same seller as the previous ones on eBay.

Iron Fist Werewolf!

I stumbled across the Iron Fist brand by accident, but instantly fell in love.
I am a huge fan of the werewolf, even though finding a good werewolf movie is almost impossible, they still remain my favorite monster. So when I saw this gorgeous "wolf beater" heels I just had to have a pair! Although they are tight on my feet, being a thin shoe, I adore them and use every opportunity to wear them out.

Seriously cutest shoe ever!

Now what it the perfect shoe if it doesn't go with anything? Bring on the matching "rip your arm off" wallet.

Besides matching the shoes its actually quite convieniant wallet with a heap of pockets for your cards.

I have received many compliments on this wallet in the grocery store.

Together they look amazing
this set is perfect for any werewolf fan.

Ironfist also stock the werewolf design in a large tote bag (on wishlist), ballet flats and a more open heel slipper.

Alchemy Jewellery - Absinthe Fairy

Its my Birthday!

My parents being understanding of my gothy-ness, bought me this fantastic necklace from Alchemy.

We now have an understanding now, where I send my Dad links to stuff I really want on eBay and they get it for me. :-)
This started last year with christmas. I sent them the link to Iron Fist wallet "rip your arm off" I wanted and they got it for me.
So anyway back to the necklace. Its a stunning dark emerald colour and looks far better in life than in the picture. The skull face is etched in the pewter and the green has been set over the top of it. It really looks like the skull is about to pop out of the pendant. Its got an extension chain so is fully adjustable in size.
Very happy with this gift
Thanks Mum and Dad

eBay Addict!

Ok so its a second hand piece, but I think its great!
I found this black lace jacket randomly on ebay, in an auction starting at AU$15. In the end it cost me about AU$32 with postage and I think it was a bargain!
Its fairly heavy but being made of lace still offers the "airiness" needed for here at the tropics.
I would probably pair it with a black singlet and jeans or black pants.
Much love for this piece!

Alchemy Jewellery

So how could I possibly go another day without another alchemy post.
This time its the two Black Rose Items.

I bought the ear cuff and the ring.
The ear cuff is stunning but I have yet to figure out how and even if I can wear it. My ears may just not be the right size.

Definatley cute though.

The ring I bought for my pointer finger. Its rather thicker than i thought it would be but looks cute on.

I have other black rose rings I like to wear it with and it looks great all together.

Again I bought these through eBay seller Cryptic Gothic Alternative Supplies. This seller has been good to me and the items always arrive in great condition and sooner than expected.

Etsy!

So I am definatley falling in love with reconstructed tops.

Here are two that I got from etsy.

The first is a glow in the dark ribcage top from RockCherryBomb.
Its beautifully fitted and has slightly puffy sleeves. It can hang loosly on your shoulders or as a t-shirt.

Far cuter that the original cut of the t-shirt. Cost me $34.00

Next I got a figure hugging batman t-shirt, reconstructed to fit nicer than the original cut. Far sexier and fitting for women from MadFoxes. And only $20.00 with free post. She has heaps of other reconstructed tees so check it out.

Etsy!

For those of you who do not know, etsy is like eBay but with handmade items. It is then the perfect place to pick up one of a kind items
It therefore becomes a must visit site for those who are looking for one-off hand made creations yet lack the abilities to create these items themselves.
I found this cute shirt on etsy, in store called idea2lifestyle. It cost me nearly $50 with postage but is unique enough that i simply had to have it.
This shirt isn't a one-off you can go visit the store and get one too, but no one else has one in Cairns, so thats good enough for me.
It fits like a dream and looks really funky for work or play.

Alchmey Jewellery - Spider Venom

So I LOVE alchemy jewellery. Pewter is a lovely metal and their pieces have exquisite detail.
My first purchase was the Emerald Venom necklace.
A stunning spider with a green crystal in its abdomen and a black crystal hanging from its hind legs.
Its a tight fit around the necklace but simply stunning.
Though not a subtle piece, still worth getting.
You can not purchase Alchemy Jewellery direct from their website but I regularly use Cryptic Gothic Alternative Supplies on eBay to purchase the latest designs.

eBay Addict!

Ok eBay is a girls best friend, gothy or not!
I picked up these cute tops for under $60 with free postage.
I love them, the one on the right is perfect for work, and the one on the left is gorgeously fitted so would be perfect with a pair of jeans.
I love them!
Both were bought from Little Angel Secret in Hong Kong.
Though the one on the left required restitching of pretty much all the buttons (which you'll notice is a LOT) the one on the right has survived many days at work. Though with my frame I find it important to wear a black singlet underneath.

Introduction!

So this is my newest blog, and its all about shopping!
I consider myself a goth, but do not dress all out all the time, so here are my shopping adventures!
